We love to share life together, connecting people to a loving God as we make the name of Jesus famous by Loving Together, Growing Together, and Going Together.
What We Believe
We believe that every story in the Bible whispers the name of Jesus and that it’s His Name that has the power to change lives and redeem the brokenness of all of mankind.
We believe that God’s love for us is an everlasting love that will never die & never change. Out of this love God created a plan to rescue us from our brokenness through the sacrificial death on the cross of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ.
It’s because of this Love that Jesus died in our place, for our sin, so that we could be restored to a right relationship with our loving and almighty Creator-God.
At Steel City Church, we know that Jesus loves us with a love that will never end, never die and never change. It’s this love that makes all the difference because His love changes everything. We also believe that there is a place for everyone in God’s family; young and old, rich and poor, healthy and sick. We invite you to step inside and be part of the picture and part of God’s redemption story.

Who We Are
Born in the neighborhoods of Lackawanna, we are part of something great God is doing in our city. Our mission is the same as it has been since the Great Commission, to go out into all the world sharing the love of Christ.
We’re people driven by real, life-changing, Jesus-centered relationships. You’ll notice right away that we aren’t interested in formality and rigid structures. Our church exists in the relationships that we’re forming with God, with each other, and with our community while meeting in an old bingo-hall. Come on in. This is a safe place, a place where you can belong.
We're located at 1219 Abbott Road.
Right next to Dollar General and across from McDonald's, not too far from Ridge & Abbott.
We invite you to come and be part of the family on any given Sunday at 10:00 am. Inside our doors, you'll find a loving community ready to walk along side you in life and on Sunday mornings, take care of your kids from infant through Grade 6 while you get to be part of a worship service that loves God and loves all.
